NONO created a four meter Still Stand sculpture for Capella Taipei in collaboration with The Artling. Our team developed the piece with Joel Escalona Studio to reflect the hotel’s character and its focus on meaningful discovery.
Capella Taipei sits in the Songshan district. It blends heritage with modern life and it uses art to guide the guest experience. As the art consultant, The Artling invited us to build a work that matched the hotel’s atmosphere.
The sculpture stands in The Rotunda, one of the most active spaces in the property. It anchors the flow of guests. It sets a quiet tone in a public space filled with movement. We produced it in Mexico City over a period of more than six months. The form follows our idea of Quiet Dynamics. Natural curves meet structured geometry. Open space invites reflection.
Still Stand asks you to pause. It gives a moment of clarity in the middle of Taipei’s rhythm. It highlights the layers of the city. It brings a calm presence into a vibrant setting.
For Capella Taipei, this piece becomes more than an object. It becomes part of its story. It shows our commitment to craft. It reflects the values of Capella. It stays with you long after you walk past it.
